About Luco Salon
Luco owner, Luis, envisioned a salon that brought people together-clients and stylists alike-for an unmatched salon experience that combined a high-end feel with a fun and friendly atmosphere. Luis has an active role on the floor and behind the scenes, from designing and creating the salon's aesthetic to training and coaching new stylists to working on clients behind the chair. He loves giving his clients a break from the outside world and a reason to smile while they sit on his chair. His favorite hair projects are custom color, extensions, and blowouts.
A graduate of Summit Salon Academy, Luis was inspired to pursue a career in styling by his mother, who was also a stylist. A continuous learner, Luis holds many certifications, including the Platinum Seamless Extension, Brazilian Blowout, Qiqi, and The Hair Shop Extension Tape In & K-Tip Certifications. Additionally, he's taken multiple styling classes through Bumble & Bumble and The Redken Exchange.
Outside of the salon, Luis enjoys spending time with his partner, Scott, and their three fur children, Butterbeer, Gringott, and Ollivander (he's a total PotterHead), going to theme parks, and playing board games. If he could wave his wizarding wand, Luis would style celeb Leah Remini's hair, travel to Ireland, and expand the salon.

Owner, Creative Director
Growing up in a big family in Kansas set the foundation for who Scott is today-someone who always wants to use his talents to help others. The salon gives him the outlet to do just that, whether it's helping someone restore their hair to health, rebalancing their scalp with a Japanese inspired scalp spa treatment, or ensuring that everyone who comes through the door is greeted warmly, feels safe to be themselves, and leaves refreshed.
A graduate of the Aveda Institute, Scott also holds a business management degree from the University of South Florida. He enjoys working behind the chair with his clients and also behind the scenes of Luco's daily operations. He gains inspirations from his partner, Luis, who encourages him to always strive towards his dreams. Who knows? Maybe, his dream of getting his hands on Arianna Grande's locks will come true!
When Scott isn't at the salon, he enjoys time at home with Luis and their three poodles, gaming, and planning travel adventures. On his bucket list are to visit New Zealand and open a cosmetology school.
